In addition to their beloved singles “You’re Mine” and “Sirens,” the recording—produced by Gil at Anova Studios and his own home studio.
Lola Marsh gave a much-discussed performance at Primavera Sound in 2014 that the influential L.A. radio station KCRW called “incredible,” adding that Yael was “clearly meant for the stage.” “Sirens,” their first single, debuted in March 2015; it quickly received a million streams and reached #5 on Spotify’s list of the Top 10 Most Viral Tracks in U.S. Their second single, “You’re Mine,” garnered two millions plays on Spotify and landed in the service’s top 3 Most Viral Tracks as well as in the top 3 of Hype Machine’s Most Popular Tracks ranking.
