The Creachies
Musical scientists, Mr. and Mrs. Hodgson, bring you their latest discovery all the way from the strange heart of Baltimore City, Maryland. On Halloween of 2016, the couple began developing the Creachieverse — a full multimedia world developed to help better understand the invisible influencers of moods and emotions that compel us to interact with the world in the ways that we do. Research techniques include music, cartoons, claymation, gifs, zines, guidebooks and more. The ultimate goal is to help the world alleviate their negative creachie influencers and replace them with positive, sexy, and colorful Creachies. By day, Mrs. Hodgson is focused on large scale systems engineering and software consulting and thinks mostly of watering her many large plants. Mr Hodgson shapes the vision of graphic and brand design for educational institutions and thinks mostly of his two cats who like to eat Mrs Hodgson’s plants when she’s not looking. The couple bring you their vision via homemade recording laboratory set up in their tiny guest room which can no longer fit overnight guests. All components of the Creachieverse are dreamt up and brought to life via the efforts of Mr and Mrs Hodgson with percussion assistance by Ro-Man Extension XJ-2 (as well as their favorite Masterer TJ Lipple). Their intention is to bring a spontaneous, DIY element to a colorful explosion of synths and fuzz guitars. Most lyrics act as instructions on how to locate and eradicate negative Creachies although Mrs Hodgson insists on at least one heartfelt love song per album. Between the tenderness of the Mrs and the weirdness of the Mr – The Hodgson’s hope you find this album an exciting addition to your collection.
